GlobalTravel.Tips was born from decades of real-world travel and a simple truth I learned from transporting over 50,000 passengers: most travel stress comes from lack of preparation.
My career began in high-stakes fields—as a paramedic, design engineer, and manufacturer of Ambulances and emergency medical equipment. This background taught me that precision and planning save the day, whether in an ambulance or at an airport.
But my true passion has always been exploration. I designed two custom camper vans and, with my wife, camped in every province and state in North America, plus completed numerous cruises. I've experienced the joys and hiccups of travel from every angle.
After retiring to Whistler, BC, I spent 14 years as a tour bus driver to Vancouver Airport. Day after day, I saw the same problems: forgotten passports, security panic, missed flights, and unnecessary stress.
